Nomanisan Island is a fictional island from the movie The Incredibles. It is home to the remote headquarters of Syndrome. If this island existed and if people disappeared, what will be the fate of this tropical island?
Life After People
1 second after people
People disappeared.
1 day after people
Power grids have fallen, causing all robots and high-tech gadgetry to shut down. This also caused the lava in the computer room to flood in and completely destroying both the computer room and the dinning area.
1 month after people
The plant life begins to cover what was the headquarters of Syndrome. The wildlife such as birds, lizards, frogs, insects, and many others also move in.
1 year after people
The headquarters is now overgrown with lush vegetation and corrosion is taking toll of many man-made objects on the island.
50 years after people
The volcano itself is starting to crumble. Why is this happening to a natural formation? Reason: It was converted inside by Syndrome and his henchmen to a headquarters. The volcano had finally collapsed, with the lava inside the former volcano going underground and distribute itself to nearby undersea volcanoes, causing the dormant undersea volcanoes to erupt and creating more landmasses at the speed of the Hawaiian volcanoes.
100 years after people
The last of the man-made structures like the remaining parts of the headquarters and the monorail system in the island have finally collapsed due to nature itself. The island is becoming more natural due to lack of human involvement.
20,000 years after people
The island is now completely unrecognizable, due to being modified by undersea volcanoes pushing and expanding the island until it resembles a more natural Hawaiian island without people in it. It has also expanded a few miles longer than during the time of humans as a result of undersea volcanoes. Without the people on the island to keep wildlife in check, the animals of this island diversified into a wide range of colorful species, including blue-colored parrots, which resemble the robotic parrots that once patrolled the island, but are natural animals.
