Despite their success, Mexican wolves face competition from the rising African wild dogs that escaped from zoos or safari parks for prey. Mexican wolves will have to tolerate the rising species or die out completely.

180 years after people[]

Most of Texas and Mexico has become a grassland, making it look like East Africa, home to animals and escaped zoo animals. The Mexican wolves now faced competition with African wild dogs.

50,000 years after people[]

The Mexican wolves once again spread across their former habitats after people disappeared. They now hunt elks, mule deer, white-tailed deer, rabbits, javelinas and the descendants of escaped zoo antelopes, zebras, tapirs, wild boars, warthogs, feral horses, feral goats, feral cows, feral sheep and feral pigs, etc.
