Some Ethiopian wolves have spread into the Madagascar after a land bridge was formed between Africa and Madagascar where they got stranded alogn with other native animals of Africa and now hunt goats, sheep, pigs, chickens, zebu calves due to lack of natural prey.

9.3 million years after people

Madagascar has became larger due to undersea volcanoes, about twice the size of modern Madagascar. The descendants of the stranded Ethiopian wolves have evolved into a much larger and more predatory animals that resemble an extinct dire wolf of the prehistoric times after interbreeding with dogs for generations. They face competition with large descendants of fossas and some descendants of feral cats and ferak dogs. They now prey on larger descendants of feral goats, feral pigs, feral cattle, antelopes, and other indigenous species of Madagascar.
