Diwata-1-Satellite

The satellite in the time of humans

Diwata-1, also known as PHL-Microsat-1 was a Philippine microsatellite launched to the International Space Station on March 23, 2016, and was deployed into orbit from the ISS on April 27, 2016. It was the first Philippine microsatellite and the first satellite built and designed by Filipinos. How long can it last in space after people?

1 Day after people: As there were no people to operate the satellite, it shuts down and remains in space for a decade. Its solar panels will keep it functioning, at least for now.
