Banbury, Oxfordshire is my home town, but how long will this building survive?

20 minuets after people: The food cooking in the cafe's grill and chip vat burn and make smoke.

22 minuets after people:The fire alarm goes off, the water sprinklers start up and panic lights flash. The shop's contents is soaked ans some tills short circuit.

6 hours after people: The surviving tills go in to sleep mode.  

1 day after people: The power goes out.

1-2 days. Chocolate melts and drinks cans bust due to no air-conditioning.  Food starts to rot. Mice, rats, cockroaches, pidgins, crows, dogs, cats and flies feast on it.

1 week after people: Ants and spiders move in.

2 Weeks after people: The paper bags begin to rot.

1 month after people: Cloth begins to rot.

2 months after people: Leather begins to rot. A pair of stray dogs and several pidgins move in and make the shop floor and loft there respective homes.

3 months after people: Food and paper bags finally rots off.

6 month after people: The glass frontage shatters in a strong frost.

10 months after people: The wood interior begins to rot and warp. The plastic and metal parts hold out.

1 year after people: The mainly prefabricated plaster board, light wight and wood built buildings also rot. The former signs and vehicles are now rusty. The window of the building start to fall down, leaving them vulnerable to plant life and animals. The commercial neon street signs and rotting wooden bill boards collapses as well. The paint begins to peal off.

1.5 years after people: The counters collapse. The roof begins to rot away. The shelving units fall off the walls.

1 Year after people: Cloth rots off. The pack of resident dogs move in to the basement since they don't like the pidgins always defecating on them all the time!

2 years after people: Leather rots off. The wood-laminate floor panels rupture upwards of the cement floor, ripping the carpet.

5 years after people: The wooden faceier panels fall of the walls and the carpet begins to rot.

6 years after people: The carpet rots off.

10 Years after people: The glass in the buildings finishes falling down. Greenery has covered Banbury in shrubbery. Roofs cave in, including this one.

20 Years after people: The first major residential building begins to collapse.

40 Years after people: Most major residential building begins to collapse. The roof caves in.

70 Years after people: It collapses.

75-100 Years after people: The offices and industrial buildings collapse.
